Very peaceful
Pitches soft due to the wet weather but gravel newly applied for tyre tracks. Nice quiet spot beside the campsite next door and a short walk over the bridge into the town centre. Lots of bars/cafes/restaurants and gift shops. Tourist area with good vibes. A bar just 5 minutes walk from CCP called Le Shaker situated right on the river with plenty of outdoor seating,well worth a visit

Our second visit here to this Aire. Good to see that C-Car have put some hard standing lines down in each space. Makes a huge difference and also ensures you park in the middle of the plot. Fabulous location. Overall much improved since our last visit 16 months ago. Thankyou C-Car for listening to feedback.

Good stopover
This stopover is 5-8 mins walk to the centre of Amboise, which is full of history and a lovely chateaus. Fab walks around the back of the site in a big park area, And along the river Loire. It is on the island in between river Loire. The site has a drive over waste water, Elsan point. Where you park is grassyand mud, They have put gravel on where they want your wheels, unfortunately it really rained and the mud got wet and quite a few complained about how boggy it got,

Schöne Lage, nah an Stadt und Schloss
Unfortunately, the pitch was very soggy due to rain. The new driveways are practical for the camper, but they create a lot of dirt in the camper when it is wet. Some of the grass has been renewed, but right now it is just dirt. No fun with 2 dogs. The campground next door offers much better sites for a little more money.

Verbesserung durchgeführt
Letztmalig am 1.03.24 auf diesem Stellplatz gewesen, wurde zwischenzeitlich die Stellplätze markiert und die Parkspur geschottert. Eine deutliche Verbesserung

Aire très bien situé, accessible au +9m, superbe Rampe de service. Attention ⚠️ réservée et n'arrivez pas trop tard. L'aire est adossée à un grand espace jeux... donc beaucoup de bruits et surtout les "les grands pilotes" en bécanes très très bruyantes....... Sinon excellent pour la visite des châteaux !

Good walking distance from castle
The location with regards to the city center is very good, the place itself is cramped and lacks nice atmosphere.
