Good location and site
Stayed two nights. Nice drive in along a pretty road between the river and rocks. Pitches are good. Water/waste facilities are outside the barrier. Bourdeilles is a very pretty little village with a chateau, church, boulangerie and a couple of bars. Easy cycle ride into Brantome.

Manque sanitaire correcte pour une nuit
Bonjour Cristiane, merci de votre avis ! Les aires du réseau Camping-Car Park ne sont qu'exceptionnellement équipées de sanitaires car elles sont dédiées aux véhicules de loisirs autonomes. Toutefois, Les CAMPING de mon Village, disposent tous de WC et DOUCHE qui sont ouverts en haute saison afin d'accueillir tous les touristes intinérants en véhicules autonomes ou non. Très mauvais fonctionnement de la barrière entrée sortie beau village

Une aire très bien entretenue. Calme, proche du centre . Châteaux à proximité.. Un très bon séjour.

Pretty village
Restaurants and bars nearby. Only 14 narrow hardstandings for use in wet weather. Barrier not working in and out, but solved with a phone call. At least 5 vans tried to get in but turned away and parked up outside for free. Service point outside needs CCP card and could be misused for toilet emptying. Better signage into the Aire would help. No general rubbish bins available without a QR code card, only recycling.

Barrier not working
16/17 June 24. As you can see from the photos, there are only about 15 hard standing pitches.Don’t think I would chance coming here in winter unless there were plenty of available spaces showing on the app (probably gets very muddy with risk of getting stuck!) There was a problem with the entry and exit barrier so we had to phone to get in and out, this makes it an expensive stop for us with the international call charges, there should be a free number to call (for all nationalities)
