Lovely Stay

Love coming here on our way back to UK. Had hoped to spend a second night after our dogs treatment at the vets. Sadly site full on our return. I was thought you allowed 3 nights and kept a space, obviously not. However on the Wed night 4 places were vacant but still people were not allowed in! So unsure how it works. Can there not be a system like other Aires where you input on machine, tempory exit or definite exit?

Great little aire

Well located for a trip back from Belgium and only 45 mins to Calais the next day. 5 minutes walk to a lovely long beach and two minutes from a great restaurant’The Belgians’. Most of the town seems to be closed on the last day of September but I’m sure it’s thriving in summer. Nevertheless, we very much enjoyed our stay and our dog loved the beach. Only negative was overflowing rubbish bins.

Superbe aire proche de la mer

Une première avec l'application. Nous trouvons le principe très sympa. Tout est inclus dans le prix du moment que vous avez votre carte. Suite à un problème de borne, nous avons dû appeler le service clients en arrivant. Très pro et très sympa. Ils nous ont ouvert directement. Aire située à 500 m de la plage. A 500m d'un carrefour contact. Emplacement plat, une prise électrique par place. Propre et bien entretenue, au calme. Nous y retournerons.

Parfait

Très belle aire, récente et bien entretenue. À proximité des plages où de grandes mais dramatiques pages de l’Histoire furent écrites. De nombreuses pistes cyclables pour vous rendre à Dunkerque, Malo les bains, voire une incursion en Belgique. Nombreux commerces et restaurants à proximité.

Bay Dunes

Excellent stop over apart from issues with machines and codes but excellent customer service when telephoned. Excellent restaurant the Belgiums 200 metres from car park although very limited English but very welcoming and obliging.

Disappointing

Ok, but not right by the beach at all . A bit of a walk. Very nice restaurant close by. Les Belgians. I don't understand why I couldn't book here- we have the pack privilege, and it really is nothing special.

Neat

Short walk to beach and bars , supermarket close by . Free bus travelling into Dunkirk , C20 change to C2 all free , very tidy site .
