Great Location
We stayed two nights here. A very nice quiet spot with great dog walks round the island. Also an easy walk into Saumur. Yes there were a few puddles but it is a wet January.

Situation
Beaux emplacements,bonne accessibilité,idéalement situé pour visiter la ville proche, très calme de jour comme de nuit, sol un peu gras en cette période, nous reviendrons aux beaux jours. Piscine juste à côté et parcours de randonnées également et voie verte pour les amateurs de vélos.

Très calme et idéalement situé. Au bord de la Loire sur une île. Emplacements suffisamment spacieux. Services accessibles et fonctionnels. Terrain un peu gras.

Beautiful location
Set on an island bang in the middle of the Loire, in spate no less. A superb location. Goid shops on the island including butcher, baker and restaurants. Short walk to Saumur centre and the spectacular chateau (closed of course in January, but the grounds are open). Bet, it's busy in the summer. Can take large motorhomes, we are 7.5m.

Super Spot
A little worried as the river very high but all was well. All services working and a 10 to 15 minute walk into interesting town. Lovely walk around the chateau. Tourist Info just over bridge on riverside.

Non stop rain
But no problem with the pitch. Right on the river and close to the château. Service point area very wet. Will be back soon.

Aire pratique près du centre ville de Saumur. Idéal pour la visite de la ville, du château...un seul bémol, la connexion Wi-Fi instable et coupe sans arrêt.

Convenient for Christmas Market
Very nice aire and service point. Sandy ground, beside the river. 15 minutes walk into the town, some shops closer. Lovely Christmas Market 😀
