Emplacement grands. La route passant en contrebasse est assez bruyante.

Lovely peaceful site
Grass pitches but fairly level. Lots of trees which were of some concern in the gusty wind conditions we experienced, but all good. Facilities more than some sites and walk through Chateau grounds and down to the river was perfect.

Interesting location
Interesting location nestled under castle walls. Green surroundings. Reasonable sized firm level pitches under large trees with hedges between giving nice feel of privacy. Facilities kept clean. Some pitches in sight of railway but offered more interest to us than any disturbance. Town close by. Would return and hope for better weather than the gales and heavy downpours that we experienced overnight!

Lovely overnight stopl
This was our second time at Taillebourg. Good size pitches with toilets and showers on site. Lovely walk into the village with a nice patisserie and walks round the castle and by the river

CCP behind the chateau
Lovely CCP under trees but with some open pitches just below the chateau. The nice nearby village has a couple of restaurants/bars and a boulangerie . I would give it a 4 star but the toilet emptying facilities are not clearly marked and very dated by the entrance.

Lovely location
Just below the medieval fortress which is free to walk round. Very clean showers, wc etc. short walk to village on the Charante River with restaurants, bakery and small shop. Sadly the weather was awful but the site lovely. Train line nearby was not a problem.
