Great
Big flat pitches a few hundred meters from chateau. Local hotels for drinks food etc , lovely welcome, also farm produce vending machine at entrance, very interesting, also pizza machine. Price includes electricity and facilities. Definitely recommend.

Aire de Villandry
Aire calme, piste cyclable et bords de du Cher à proximité. Ne comptez pas sur le WiFi, et réseau 4G ou 5G assez faible. Emplacements corrects et presque tous plats, mais accès aux bornes boueux en cette saison (un passage gravillonné serait le bienvenu). Services eau, vidanges, électricité opérationnels (dommage que certains vidangent les eaux noires à côté de la station...).

Lovely place
Great place to visit, but it's too early in the year for anything to be open. The Château looked amazing. On a positive note, there was an automatic pizza oven by the entrance and also self-service fruit and vegetable lockers.

First time
This was our first stay at one of the Camping-Car Park network of Aires/Sites. We had obtained the card and already had some money put on it. Access to this Aire was simple - just present the card to the keypad and the barrier went up. The Aire has plenty of space, is flat and we felt very safe. EHU @ 6amps is included. We didn’t get the opportunity to visit the chateau or gardens. The boulangerie opens at 7am and is about 300 metres from the barrier.

Beautiful site nr castle
Aire set out lovely by trees & stream. Ehu elson point & water waste. Just outside main entrance is vending machines with fruit & veg etc. amazing place to stop & explore. Will be back!
