Très belle aire ombragé à souhaits .village à 100 mètres et auberge à la sortie de l aire que je recommande fortement. Avons passés un bon moment de repos

Close to city center
A cute towncenter closeby. Best point, we could take a hot shower. And with the right place, you’ll have a marvellous view from your cockpit!

Pas satisfait
Aire proche du centre ville, mais sanitaire dans un triste état sale portes avec verrous arrachés a pratiquement 16€ la nuit il serait temps de prendre en compte les doléances de vos abonnés c’est sur cette aire un problème de longue date . L’étoile n’est la que pour la validation de l’avis

Pratique car très proche du village mais mériterait un meilleur fléchage

Cette aire est super bien placée. L'entretient global du site demande à être amélioré. Taille des pelouses, élagage des arbres pour améliorer les accès et la réception satellite. La fréquence de nettoyage des sanitaires est à revoir.. les prix élevés, pratiqués ,devraient pourtant permettre d'améliorer ces prestations

Stunningly beautiful town
What a surprise! The town is absolutely stunningly beautiful and site is right next to the town square. Had a wonderful meal at Sophie’s. A wonderful French food town.

GOOD FOR TOWN
The aire is ideally suited on the edge of the town with a very good boulangerie just a few minutes away. Martel is beautiful and the train ride is worthwhile. It’s slightly elevated so some pitches have views. It also seemed to catch a nice breeze that helped keep the temperature down. The toilet block is okay. Everything was very dated, it’s clear that no investment has been made in this area, but it was clean and showers were hot. For the money it’s good value.

Aire bien située avec tout le nécessaire. Bien ombragée. L'accès peut provoquer des frottements au sol pour les porte à faux un peu longs. Mais ça passe. Pour le long cc un parking plus bas est possible sans les services.

A good location for visiting Martel, but let down by poorly maintained pitches, the worst being the filthy toilets and showers, in fact a French gentleman who was staying gave whole block a good clean because he was so angry with the state of them, if you going to have toilets and showers I would think you have duty of care to maintain hygienic standards. And I am sure you know with social media,negative comments travel faster than positive comments.

Slightly tight turn to enter the CCP (and up a short hill to barrier), services just after you enter. Site would be quite tight if filled to capacity. Pitches mostly grass and quite muddy (esp if wet). Ablutions are rustic, a little grubby, but servicable. EHU posts dotted around the site so you may need a long cable. Short walk into town, lots of restaurants, boutiques and narrow streets. Head through the town and you’ll find ‘Train de Martel’.
