Our First Overnight CCP Stop.....

Arrived mid afternoon looking for somewhere to stay for one night. We have never used Camping-carpark before so decided to try. It was very easy to open an account and register. The facilities were complete with several toilets, several hot showers although l couldn't get it very hot in my shower but more than adequate. The facilities are a little bit dated but very clean and very functional and again very clean and tidy.Overall a very nice experience for both my wife and I.

Nice Spot

This ASA is calm, sometimes you can hear trains passing on the nearby line. The pitches are generous, have water and electricity. The village is very close.

Beautiful hidden gem

Set amongst trees, nestled against the old castle walls, this is an ideal stopover spot. Even has a toilet and shower block. Cafes within 10 minutes walk. Free walks around castle grounds. Lovely walks alongside the river.

Nice Stop Over

Perfect place for a stopover. Unfortunately nothing to keep you in the area. The pitches are very generous lots of shade and a lovely walk up to the Abbey. The Showers and toilets were spotless. The passing train didn't really bother us. We had a very peaceful sleep. Ray Whitby Cleethorpes UK.June 24

Fabulous site one of our favourites near to a very good bakers nice walk down the river path were you can stop for a drink. There are trains but they stop at night so quiet place to sleep

Platz unterhalb des Schlosses mit allem was man braucht. Das Sanitärhaus klein und einfach, aber sauber. Manchmal hört man den Verkehrslärm der Straße, die unterhalb des Platzes verläuft und den vorbeifahrenden Zug. Bäckerei und Restaurant fußläufig zu erreichen.

Mooi plekje

Heel mooi plekje naast het Chateau. De weg hoor je s’nachts niet en de trein vonden wij niet storend, komt 2 keer in het uur. En s’nachts hebben we de trein niet gehoord. Bakker is in het dorpje. En restaurantje aan het water.
