Ein sehr schöner Platz für die Etappe in die Normandie. Das einzige was wirklich fehlt ist die fehlende Möglichkeit seinen Müll zu entsorgen. Keine einzige Mülltonne!

One night stay
In a town that has all amenities we stayed in June 2024 although there was some building construction going on opposite. There is a supermarket turning right from the site plenty of places to eat out. A quiet night but no shade.
Hello, Thank you for your review of the Bapaume site where you stayed. Not all the areas are shaded. We offer many stages with different vegetation depending on the location. If you only want shaded areas, you should know that the campsites in my Village are often greener than the stopover areas. New facilities
Stayed for two nights and it was fine. They are doing building work in the main square opposite, so a little noisy, but not too bad considering what’s being done. Restaurant next door and shops and supermarket very near. If your interested in military history, it’s a great place as a base to visit the area.

The Ghost
Excellent Aire. Hard standing with plenty of pitch space. Next to kids play area, and an Australian WW1 Military Cemetary 5 minute walk from site. Town is a 10 minute walk to its centre with normal shops. Would definitely return if heading that way...

Great little site right on the edge of the town which was in easy walking distance for shops, groceries and cafes etc. building work is going on just in front of the site but it didn’t cause us any issues. Very tidy and all facilities worked fine. Great for an overnight stay.

Der Platz ist gut gemacht, große Parzellen und gut gelegen. Aber die Ver- und Entsorgung ist ungünstig. Und leider gibt es keine Müllentsorgung. Das Schlimmste aber: Direkt neben dem Platz ist ein umzäunzes Basketball Feld. Dort spielen laut grölende Kinder Fußball und donnern die Bälle gegen die Gitter. Und leider landen die Bälle auch an den Wohnmobilen. Sehr unangenehm. Wir kommen hier nicht mehr hin.
