Beautiful Bourdeilles
Superb site close to the River Dronne. Service area is outside the barrier, you’ll need your CCP card to fill up. Beyond the barrier its a large open field, there is some shade towards the top end. A mix of gravel and grass pitches. Short walk into the village. Canoe hire is possible close to the site, there is also a bar/pizzaria at the entrance to the site (open Wed-Sun). A great stop to do nothing and relax!

Aire très agréable et calme à cette époque... calme ... WiFi très difficile à avoir pourtant près de l'entrée !!! Pas loin à pied du village médiévale

Beautiful setting
This is a lovely Aire with loads of gravel pitches and another in squares on the grass. But be careful after heavy rain driving onto the grass. Lovely old town and can cycle to Brantome from here.

Huge site mainly grass
When we stayed all grass pitches on nearby sites were too soft. Lovely big field right on the river. Noisy road behind though. Here all the hard standing pitches (nearly 20 I think) were taken by 5pm. Easy walk along footpath behind houses and across bridge to get into town. Bakery sold us the worst baguette ever. Rock hard. Probably wouldn’t stay again as got harassed by some very intimidating youths about 8pm while walking the dogs. Quite scary

Avis sur aire de Bourdeilles
Superbe aire dans un bel environnement et dans un très beau petit village. Attention aux emplacements sur herbe en cas de pluie.
