Schöne Lage, eigentlich

Ein ehemaliger Campingplatz mit drei Terrassen: Die Plätze auf der unteren haben eine wunderschöne Aussicht über das Flusstal, die oberen haben WLAN. Der ganze Platz ist sehr grün mit alten Bäumen und Hecken, mit ein bisschen "lost place"-Charme. Die Zu- und Ausfahrt ist einspurig und ziemlich steil aber ok. Leider hört und riecht man (besonders bei Südwestwind) die nicht sichtbare aber nahe gelegene Mülldeponie.

Quiet and peaceful site

We stayed two nights to visit Gaillac, the Abbey and the Maison du Vin. The site is on three levels and close to the river which is just visible through the trees on the lowest level. It’s a wooded site, very natural and a little overgrown. Gravel hard standings except the lowest level which is grass. After heavy rain the grass obviously gets very waterlogged. No such problem for us, we were on the second level surrounded by hedges, covered by tees and quite secluded.

Au calme. Grands emplacements avec tonnelle : très bonne idée. Services nickels.

A Good Transit Stopover

A good location as a one night stopover, showing seasonal wear & tear but clean and peaceful. Access down an incline, no passing places so a bit of reversing for uphill traffic if vans meet.

Aire très bien (ancien camping municipal il me semble)

Près du centre de Gaillac facilement atteignable à pieds. Je recommande

Stellplatz im Grünen

Sehr schöner ehemaliger Campingplatz mit Blick auf den Tarn. Bäckerei und Supermärkte fußläufig zu erreichen. Unterhalb der Hauptstraße und trotzdem sehr ruhig.

Lovely site in picturesque setting.

Lovely site near a beautiful town. Just beware there are stink bugs around which do their best to get in your van!

Très calme

Endroit très calme, ombragé, emplacements délimités.

Mooie schaduwrijke plekken in groene omgeving. Heel rustig. Je hoort hier bijna geen stadsgeluid. Het is 25 minuten lopen naar het mooie oude stadcentrum.
