Great location
Literally a strip of land next to a campsite, some hard standing for each space so no issues with wet ground. No view but this is off set by the fact it only takes a few minutes to get to the river and views of the Chateau. Over the bridge and you are in the centre. Nice places to get a glass of local wine. Le Shaker is a fantastic tapas bar a couple of minutes from site with views across the river and chateau is lit up at night. Water and waste facilities easy to access on site.

Aire très bien, proche d' Amboise au calme dans un cadre sympathique. Piste cyclable au alentour. La tonte n'avait pas été faite et depuis un certain temps dommage.

Great location
This aire is in a fantastic location to visit Amboise only a short walk into the town and the Royal Chateau. I have only given 3 stars because the aire is very neglected, grass and hedges overgrown and actual pitches are very boggy. Attempts have been made in throwing down some stone chips on wheel tracks, but in our opinion the whole parking are needs stones laid with hardcore. It had been raining heavily and we were worried we were not going to be able to get off pitch. Campsite next door.

Petite aire d'étape mais très bien placé pour visiter la ville.

Nice site
This is the second time at this site. Everything in place and working conveniently located for the town. Negative point the site was booked for maintenance. First, the contractors van blocked the service point, which they did eventually move, second the maintenance only was to the entrance and along opposite side to pitch, why did they not cut the grass between the pitches?
